That you can sign up for a Jetshop Free web shop without receiving any promotional e-mails from third party companies. However, Jetshop and the service partners providing the Jetshop Free service will send information about your account to your registered e-mail address.

To keep all your personal information strictly confidential. We will never share it unless you (or the authorities) tell us to do so.

To only send you account information if you opt out of the Jetshop Free information e-mail. Important account information is also available in your Jetshop Free administration tool.

To never use demographic information for any other reason than to improve our service to you. In the Jetshop Free registration wizard and in the Jetshop Free GoLive wizard there are several non-required input fields with demographic questions. We only collect this info so that we can better understand your needs. Therefore we most kindly suggest filling out all the fields even if some questions might seem irrelevant at first glance.

That all your customer information is safely stored on secure Jetshop servers and is kept strictly confidential. Only if we are required by law enforcement agencies will we give anyone but our authorized personnel access to this information.

That your information is your information even when you no longer have any use for our Jetshop Free service. When you terminate your Jetshop Free account, all information will be erased and never shared with anyone but you.
The e-mails we will send to you
There is some information that we must send to you when you sign up for a Jetshop Free account.

Receipts – Your transaction history will be viewed in "your account" in the administration area. However, we and/or our payment partners (like Payson) will send e-mails to you regarding your transaction history.

New accounts – We will send you e-mails informing about the remaining steps in the GoLive process for your account. These e-mails are meant to help you to start selling online as soon as possible. We promise not to mail bomb your account. If you do not want these encouraging e-mails you can opt out of them at any time.

Account information – To avoid having inactive accounts in our system, we will send heads-up emails regarding an eventual account termination if your account has gone unused for a prolonged period of time. Accounts that still have not been through the GoLive process after 3 months may also be shut down. If you pro-actively would like to shut down your account you can do so in the administration tool or send an e-mail to nomorefreeforme@jetshopfree.com.

Service information – Jetshop Free is under constant improvement, so from time to time we will send you an e-mail about new features, partners, hosting upgrades, planned outages, abuse warnings and similar information. But we won't blame you if you don't read it. After all, you are a Free person, and Free persons normally have more interesting things to do with their lives.

All companies that provide services that also include handling any confidential or personal information regarding your account will follow our privacy policy.
Breach of privacy policy
As you probably know, the world is full of hackers and other people doing their best to make life miserable for the rest of us. Therefore, we can never be held liable for any costs or damage made by a security breach in our system.
